Carrier Selection

Our cellular cameras work independently from any existing cellular service you may have, in fact you don't even need to have existing cellular service. The cameras functions, controls and billing occur via the Strike Force Wireless website/app: strikeforcewireless.com

In deciding which carrier will best suit your needs the coverage of each carrier in the area the camera is going to be placed should be considered. Coverage maps can be found on the carriers' websites.

Carrier Specific Models:

Some of our cellular cameras are carrier specific. This means the camera operates with one carrier only and the decision of which carrier will be right for you and your location should be made at the time of purchase. Currently these models are the Defender, Pro Scout Max and the Vision Pro.

Dual Carrier Models:

Some of our cellular cameras have dual carrier capabilities. This means the camera is equipped with both Verizon and AT&T SIM Cards and chip sets. It also means you can select which carrier best suits you and your camera's location after the purchase. Please be advised however that once the carrier selection is made you will need the assistance of Customer Service to unlock the selected carrier to be able to swap to the other. Currently these models are the Pro Scout Max, Ridgeline Pro, Vision, Pro Scout Max Extreme HD, Vision Pro HD and Pro Scout Max HD.

Auto Select Feature:

Some of our cellular cameras have an Auto Select feature for choosing the carrier. This feature is only on select models that are dual carrier models as well. This means that at the carrier selection process when setting up the camera if you select Auto the camera will determine which carrier provides the best signal at the location you are currently at and then select it. Things to note about this are as follows:

  • We advise to only use Auto if you are at the location you intend on leaving the camera.
  • Once the Auto selection is made it does not change.

Please be advised however that once the carrier selection is made you will need the assistance of Customer Service to unlock the selected carrier to be able to swap to the other.
