Camera Reactivation

We recognize that many of our users may not need their cellular service year-round and have placed their camera(s) Offline. In this article you will learn how to reactivate an Offline camera. This action will place the camera back on a subscription which will reactivate the cellular link between the camera and the Strike Force Wireless app. This will get you back in action to start receiving images/videos and other details from your camera!

 

How do I reactivate my camera?

There are two ways to approach this; by managing a camera individually or by adding a subscription you can move multiple offline cameras to. This section of the article will give step-by-step instructions on both.

 

One Camera

1. Locate the camera on the Cameras Page.

 

 

2. When the SELECT SUBSCRIPTION window opens choose the subscription you would like to place your camera on by pressing the SELECT button. 

Note: You can press REVIEW SUBSCRIPTION COMPARISON CHART to open a chart of all subscriptions and their details if needed in helping choose the subscription that is best for your needs. 

Note: If you have any active subscriptions on your account that have available space for another camera you can choose to place your camera on that subscription by pressing the ADD CAMERA FOR $5.00/MONTH or ADD CAMERA FOR $9.99/MONTH (Unlimited) button.

3. A series of screens will display for you to move through giving you a Success message where you will press REVIEW SUBSCRIPTION to move forward, a Review screen where you will press CHECKOUT NOW to move forward and the Checkout page where you will press PAY NOW to finalize.

 

4. Once complete you will be able to locate your camera on the Cameras Page.

 

 

Multiple Cameras

1. Using the Menu go to SUBSCRIPTIONS. Locate the ADD SUBSCRIPTION button and use it.  

2. When the SELECT SUBSCRIPTION window opens choose the subscription you would like to place your cameras on by pressing the SELECT button. 

Note: You can press REVIEW SUBSCRIPTION COMPARISON CHART to open a chart of all subscriptions and their details if needed in helping choose the subscription that is best for your needs. 

 

 

3. Once you have selected the subscription you can place the cameras. From the SELECT CAMERA window in the "Add an existing offline camera to a subscription" section press the ADD TO SUBSCRIPTION button at a camera you wish to add. When the SUCCESS window opens press "Add Another Camera" to return to the SELECT CAMERA window. 

Repeat this process until all Offline cameras you wish to add to this subscription have been added. Press REVIEW SUBSCRIPTION to move forward. 

4. You can now Review the subscription and its details and then press CHECKOUT NOW to move forward. At the CHECKOUT page you can press PAY NOW to finalize.

5. Now that you have completed these steps your cameras will be found on the Cameras Page.

 

 

FINAL REMINDER

By performing either of the outlined actions above you have moved a camera or more than one camera from Offline to an active subscription. This means that for those cameras the cellular connection has been restored, and the cameras will begin to transmit to or communicate with the Strike Force Wireless app. This also means all billing for those cameras has resumed and your monthly billing date is the date in which these actions were performed.
