Timelapse mode is a mode of operation in which the trail camera will take a picture based on an interval of time. It will take this picture regardless of if there is anything in front of camera or not. This mode of operation does not take pictures at night.
When viewing images taken in Timelapse mode you must use the Buck Watch Timelapse Viewer software. The Browning trail camera packaging should have this included on a mini CD. If operating a PC that runs Windows install the software and then view anything captured through this. Should you need the download for the software click the link provided below.

If operating a Mac the Buck Watch Timelapse Viewer software is not compatible. To view anything taken in Timelapse mode the file extension should be changed from a .TLS to a .AVI which is a standard file type any media player can read.
Should you choose to operate your camera in this mode the information below will help guide through the setup process and give you an understanding of what to expect.
Capture/Operation Mode: This should be set to Timelapse.
Timelapse Frequency: This determines the time intervals in which the camera will take pictures.
Timelapse Duration: This determines the time frame in which the selected intervals will occur.
Example1: With the mode set to "Timelapse", the Timelapse Frequency set to "5 Minutes" and the Timelapse Duration set to "All Day" the following will occur.
The camera will come on at sunrise and take a picture every 5 minutes (again, regardless of if there is anything in front of the camera or not.) and it will stop at sundown and not operate through the night. At the next sunrise the camera will repeat the process.
Example2: With the mode set to "Timelapse", the Timelapse Frequency set to "2 Minutes" and the Timelapse Duration set to "3 Hours" the following will occur.
The camera will come on at sunrise for 3 hours during which time it will take a picture every 2 minutes. Three hours before sunset the camera will come on and again take a picture every 2 minutes until sunset. At the next sunrise the camera will repeat the process.
Note: Over a period of days the camera learns sunrise and sunset and will constantly adjust automatically. This applies for the 2, 3 and 4 hour settings as well as the All Day setting.
